I was sooo excited to have to opportunity to meet up with David & Jessica for their engagement session!!! We planned it carefully, but I was a bit worried that the weather had other plans, but the rain held off for several hours giving us nothing but blue skies!!!
They are really amazing!!! Sometimes you just meet a couple that is so in love it just spills over into the little things . . . how they treat each other and even the little gestures and touches. David & Jessica are soooo in love and are so insanely sweet together that I really could have followed them all day documenting how cute they are!!! Or talking about Boston since it is one of my favorite cities =) Little do they know, they could have possibly gotten away with paying me in Mike's Pastries!!! Shhhh . . . don't tell!!!
Their Story
From David & Jessica:
In September 2008, a girlfriend invited Jessica to a friend's birthday party in
Brighton, MA. We met that night and hit it off right away! Dave called Jessica a couple days later and we had our first date at Biagio's in
Waltham on Sept. 19th. We have been together ever since!
Dave proposed on January 27, 2011. Dave came home one afternoon from work with a bag from Trader Joe's. He brought home Jessica's favorite wine and a dozen roses. Jessica started unloading the dishwasher and was wondering why Dave wasn't helping her. She turned around to look for him and he was down on one knee with a ring. After Dave assured Jessica he was being "for serious" and after doing a happy dance, Jessica of course said yes!
We chose to do our engagement session in downtown Bristol because it had a special meaning to us. Jessica grew up loving the old train tracks and downtown Bristol. The Bristol Train Station and the park were beautiful backdrops. We had a blast shooting the engagement session and can't wait until our wedding day!
