Christmas with Mike, Kelly, & Jackson!!!

If you haven't met Jackson, you should!!!  Yes, I realize that is a crazy statement, but Jackson has to be one of you smartest and cutest little boys I've ever met!!!  I don't even think he means to be funny, but he cracks me up!!!  At the age of two, he was already more articulate than me, and his FACES!!! 

Crazy photographer confession . . . most photographers will admit that one of our challenges is overcoming the parental indoctorination of "CHEESE!!"  Not going to lie, I've said it, but 95% of the time when you ask someone between the ages of 2 and 4 to say "cheese" you get this super hilarious face with squinty eyes and all teeth.  And sometimes, they've been so well trained that the moment they see a camera, they immediately pause, look, and pull out the CHEESE!!!  Hahaha!!  Well, Kelly & Mike had taught Jackson various "faces" rather than "cheese" . . . and I was in love!!!  It was the funniest thing ever!!!  He could (with some bribery) pull out a "sweet face," "happy face," "silly face," "sad face," "mad face," etc . . . it was like having a little actor!!! 

We had so much fun together!!!  Mike & Kelly are great friends!!!  I've known Kelly since high school, and she remembers me from when I was first diving into weird chocolate creations . . . I think the first was what I called "CCVWWPB" (aka - chocolate covered vanilla wafers with peanut butter)!!!  Yep - I had discovered the double boiler!!!  And Jackson was sooooo excited about seeing a train!!!  And we all got a surprise when we discovered we could play on a caboose!!!!  Too fun!!!
