Ramsey Turns ONE!!!

It is so hard to believe it has been 12 months since I first met little Miss Ramsey!!!  I was scheduled to be out of the country the week before her due date, so I was a bit worried she'd come early, but . . . like a fabulous princess, she was fashionably late!!!  Sooo . . . I got to meet her shortly after she came home, and I fell in love with her!!!

Tim and Elizabeth are such amazing parents, and it has been so much fun seeing them all every three months and watching this GORGEOUS little girl grow!!!

Beautiful Maternity Session!!!

Rachael looks absolutely radiant!!!  I am so excited I had the opportunity to capture how beautiful she looks with her 4th child and first son!!!  Still outnumbered, Mark will no longer be the only guy in the house.  And Lilygrace, Audrey, & Emma are all thrilled to have a new baby brother!!!  I simply cannot wait to meet him!!!

Abbey Grace & Alexakate

Meet Alexakate (left) & Abbey Grace (right)!!!

I am proud to say these two GORGEOUS young ladies are my sweet cousins . . . beautiful inside and out!!! Abbey Grace is so graceful and poised!!!  When I grow up, I'd love to look so put together and to float when I walk!!!  She's simply beautiful!!!  And little Alexakate is adorable!!!  She makes the funniest faces and has the absolute cutest giggle!!!  I LOVE it!!!

Easter with Zachary & Connor!!!

I first met Zachary & Connor in December of 2010 at my very first Christmas Mini Session.  It was only a few months later that I found out my sweet baby sister was pregnant with twins!!!  I am certain these two boys (and their fabulous mom Melissa) have better prepared me (and my sis) for the FUN and eventful world of twin boys!!!  They crack me up, and I feel like I've known them forever!!!!

My favorite moment this session was when we headed over to the stump (they always love to play on it) . . . Connor picked up a stick and went after his brother.  Melissa stopped him and pointed out that wasn't fair.  He needed to give Zachary a stick too.  Hahaha!!!  And then the sword fight began!!!  They have so much fun together!!!  I love it!!!

Easter with Jacob!!!

Meet Jacob!!!  He is the CUTEST little boy!!!  I cannot believe he is already TWO years old!!!  It seems like only yesterday I was taking his First Christmas Pictures . . . time flies, and this one is incredibly handsome!!!  I was pretty sure after he met the chickens and saw the eggs (not from the chickens - ha!), he was never going to let them go!!!  You may notice there is a chicken or egg hidden (and sometimes not so hidden) in almost every picture of him . . . LOVE it!!!

Easter with Lilygrace, Audrey, & Emma!!

It is so hard to believe, but this will be my very last mini-session with just these three gorgeous girls.  With the exception of one more session (coming soon), the next time I see them, they will all be BIG SISTERS to a bouncing baby BOY!!!

I would gush, but I'll have time for that in their next blog.  For now, I just can't get over how much Lilygrace, Audrey, & Emma have grown.  They are turning into such sweet and beautiful young ladies!!!  I LOVE hanging out with them!!!  They have such fun and unique personalities!!  Lilygrace is athletic and fun (I've even caught her giving good boy advice to the younger girls)!!  Audrey loves the camera and loves to twirl!!!  And Emma is always so calm and sweet with the animals!!!  They are all three going be amazing Big Sisters!!!

Easter with Madeline!!!

I absolutely ADORE Madeline!!!!  Maybe it is her bright brown eyes, her fabulous curly hair, her cute southern drawl, or that look she gives when she thinks you are just a little crazy . . . but she always makes me smile!!!!

Be prepared world because this tiny young girl is cute, smart, sassy, and quick on her feet . . . already.  Can you imagine what she can accomplish in a couple of decades!?!?

Easter with Hannah & Savannah!!!

I met up with Brian & Mary and their two beautiful twin daughters Hannah & Savannah for a mini session, and we had sooo much fun!!!  These two absolutely LOVE the outdoors and all animals!!!  And the animals adored them . . . even Miss Ruby (the goat)!!!  Hannah's eyes just sparkle, and how cute is Savannah's snaggle-toothed smile!!!!

Easter with Madisyn!!!

Meet Madisyn!!!  I had such a wonderful time meeting her and watching her with the animals!!!  Her gorgeous eyes are only matched by her adorable expressions!!!

I'm pretty sure she thought I was a bit crazy when we first met (she's probably right - haha!), and she gave me the CUTEST Tinkerbell style pout!!!  But then, she met Mattie (the pony), Ruby (the goat), and fell in love with the little Chick!!!  I'm sure you'll fall in love with Miss Madisyn too!!!

Paul + Sara

There are so many things about being a photographer that I absolutely LOVE, but THIS has to be one of my FAVORITES . . . capturing special moments with two people in love, committed to sharing their lives together!!!!  Paul & Sara are amazing and sweet people!!!  I LOVED hanging out with them, wandering around the church and grounds, and watching as Paul would make Sara burst out laughing!!!  I still have no idea what he was doing or saying, but they were soooo CUTE together!!!




I met up with Paul and Sara for a bridal portrait session that was a bit unorthodox . . . we had the handsome groom come too!!!  For the traditionalists, this was a post-wedding bridal portrait, so he didn't see her in her dress way before the wedding.

I wish I could say I came up with the idea, but this was all them, and I must say they are BRILLIANT!!!

The bride looked stunning, and I was able to capture special moments of the GORGEOUS couple together after all the hustle and bustle of the wedding day and really take extra time with them.

I like this idea so much, I would recommend it to just about anyone!!!  Truthfully, unless there is a First Look (which I LOVE), I'd be surprised if many couples even get a total of 20 minutes together on their wedding day just for photos of the two of them.  If you've booked your wedding with me, you've likely seen my happy little "ideal" wedding photo itinerary, and we all know I'd be thrilled if couples wanted to set aside 5-6 hours just for pictures (yeah, I've only had one bride truly take me up on that - hahaha!).  However, I'm realistic enough to know you have preparations to make, friends to see, and family begging you not to keep your guests waiting all day.  Soooo . . . having a post-wedding session is an AMAZING idea!!!!

Paul & Sara -- you are both fabulous!!  I wish you all the joy and happiness in the world!!!  Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of this!!!!
